Old alumnus Yu Yingqing is a 1951 graduate of the Department of Economics of EMS. She is 94 years old now. She has never forgotten the kindness of her alma mater and contacted the Beijing Alumni Association of our school to present her 70-year-old graduation album to her alma mater. In the commemorative book are the handwritings of famous professors Yang Duanliu, Zhang Peigang, and Li Chonghuai of the Department of Economics, as well as the parting signatures and messages of the classmates.

Shen Zuolin, vice dean of EMS, and Yu Shan, executive chairman of Beijing alumni association, visited and accepted gifts. The old alumni was extremely happy to see the people from her alma mater, and couldn't restrain her inner excitement. She unceasingly recalled the past events of her study and life at Wuhan University, and also wittyly told the story of the students nicknamed the teachers.

Executive Chairman Yu Shan sent the donation certificate issued by university to Yu Yingqing's old alumni; Vice President Shen Zuolin, on behalf of EMS leaders and teachers and students, presented Yu Yingqing's old alumni with "The History of the School of Economics and Management of Wuhan University" and the introduction of EMS and expressed sincere gratitude and best wishes to Yu Yingqing.
