On the morning of October 28, 2010, the symposium on the 30th anniversary of insuring of the journal Economic Review was held in the No.7 Conference Room, Economics and Management School. Attendees included: deputy dean Zeng Guo’an, deputy dean Wang Xianjia, chief editor Ye Chusheng, former chief editor Wang Bing, some of the former staff and all current staff. Ye Chusheng chaired the symposium.

Prof.Ye Chusheng started the symposium with an introduction to the preparation work for the 30th anniversary ceremony of the journal. Then representatives discussed the future development of the journal. Participants reached the census that Economic Review had attained such a high status after weathering 30 years’ of bumpy road thanks to generations of efforts. For tomorrow, the journal will continue its role in facilitating national economic development, pushing forward economics discipline construction and nurturing economics talents.
